WHAT WE OFFER:
Soil Sampling
We suggest you allow us to take one or more soil samples from your lawn and send them to Penn State's agricultural services laboratory for analysis. This will allow us to design a fertilization program tailored to fit your lawn's unique needs. We offer this service free of charge.

Weed Control
We begin in early spring by applying a granular fertilizer that contains a pre-emergent weed control product which prevents crabgrass from appearing at the onset of the hot summer weather. Then, throughout the growing season, we apply products which eliminate broadleaf weeds such as dandelion, thistle, and clover, and prevent their germination.
Fertilization
We fertilize your lawn regularly during the growing season using mostly granular "slow release" products that provide the nutrients necessary to build strong and healthy turf. We offer both traditional and organic fertilizers, and occasionally use a liquid fertilizer combined with certain weed control products.
Grub ControlGrubs are the larvae of beetles. They feed on the roots of turf grass and can severely damage an otherwise healthy lawn. To prevent this we apply a granular or liquid product once or twice during the summer months.
Core Aeration
Core aeration is a mechanical process which reduces the compaction of the soil. By removing half-inch wide to 3 inches long plugs of soil, more air and water reach the turf's root zone. Core aeration is typically done once a year in the late summer or early fall.
Over Seeding
By over seeding a lawn, we fill in thin areas and bare spots, creating stronger turf that will crowd out unwanted weeds. Sometimes done in the spring, but more often in late summer or early fall. We use only the finest grass seeds available and custom blend them according to your lawn's particular sunlight, slope, and soil conditions.
LimingLiming is the application of calcium and magnesium rich materials to raise the pH levels in your soil. Optimal soil pH is a major factor in your grass' ability to absorb nutrients. The soils in our area tend to be acidic. Should your soil sample indicate your soil is too acidic, we will suggest an application of calcitic lime. This can be done at any time of year.
Additional Topsoil
If you have areas of your lawn that are uneven, whether due to storm water erosion or the decay of an old tree stump, we bring the best quality topsoil, high in organic content, to remedy the problem.
Topdressing
Topdressing is the process of applying a thin, even layer of compost over the surface of your lawn to increase the organic matter content in the soil. Overtime, topdressing reduces the need for fertilizer, especially when done in conjunction with core aeration. Ideal for members desiring to move toward a fully organic lawn program. Topdressing can be done in spring or fall.
Sodding
In some situations, growing grass from seed is simply not practical. Whether you have an event planned, the slope of your lawn is too great, or you do not have to the time to allow grass to grow from seed, we can install sod. We use the best bluegrass, rye, and fescues sods shipped directly to your home from family owned farms in South Jersey.
Full Renovation
If you have purchased new construction, built an addition, or are not satisfied with the slope and character of your lawn, we can install a brand new lawn for you. We perform all the necessary grading and provide for adequate drainage.
